    You like the blues?

this track goes back to 1987 actually and I love it. It was a bit of a protest thing by Ry Cooder but it may introduce a few of you to his brilliance, escpecially his ability with the bottleneck slide.

cheers, hope you enjoy it, Dennis

I was right that this thread was from a Queenslander. I was wrong that this thread was about state of origin.
    Cheers

    A bit further back

G'day Dennis and other Blues people,

I went a bit further back yesterday and I was listening to on Son House and his take on slide playing. [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K9JLJ2Te7io"]Son House - Death Letter Blues - YouTube[/ame]

I also found a copy of the full Son House album - with better sound quality too than the other clip.

All good stuff anyway! Keep them coming

    Kind Regards
    Lionel

Thank you for that, great for a rainy day, or any day, for that matter, Bob
I’m pretty sure the dinosaurs died out when they stopped gathering food and started having meetings to discuss gathering food

A bookshop is one of the only pieces of evidence we have that people are still thinking
