Rumours??? geez Muppet, does your boyfriend like that one too? :D Sorry man you know I'm joking, it's a good album but.....another vote for Dark Side of the Moon, a totally epic album that was in the Billboard charts for 741 weeks.

Don't get me wrong, DSOTM is simply amazing.
But Rumours is just spot on, don't know if it was because they wouldn't get off planes unless there was enough Cocaine for them, or because they were all at each others throats, but boy, is it a great album.
And yes, my girlfriend likes it too :p
Gotta love an original. Good to see. Mind you, my lists on these things always end up like something from "High Fidelity" or what the High Priests of Rolling Stone tend to espouse. Can't help it... great is great.
I'd like to add the following: White Album, Sergeant Pepper, Revolver, Highway 61 Revisited, Abbey Road.....
And when I think of it, when I listen to Tea for the Tillerman I can't imagine anything sounding better....
But I'll stick with BTR. It still leaps out of the groove.
My music tastes vary from heavy rock to modern house music depending on what mood I am in. Rumours is very good but there is nothing like Dark Side of the Moon played so loud the windows rattle whilst lying in a dark room just a little bit ****ed.
Thick as a Brick - Jethro Tull.:)
"The Return of Bruno" - Bruce Willis
Well, it's up there with "Rumours" !!!
But seriously, "Dark Side of the Moon" is up there as it was different for its time as was "Space Ritual" by Hawkwind.
Achtung Baby - U2
Or
A Rush of Blood to the Head - Coldplay
Hot August Night.
Without sitting & listening to over 400 CD's I would have to say -
Another vote for Dark Side of the Moon. Though of late I have got into Nina Simone.
