Yeah , we'll that says it all mate doesn't it? Anyone who does anything like the speed of that bike on a public road with other road users around certainly doesn't have his brain in gear does he? Imagine your in the td5, come to an intersection, look right and see nothing all the way to the crest of a nearby hill about 100m from the intersection, so you pull out and bang, a bike or car hits you up the back end with the resulting injury and mayhem that follows.....at those sort of speeds that's about 80m a second....normal human reaction time is 1 second.....wouldn't even have slowed down much.....
I don't give a toss about the politics or the hypocrites, the reality is we need speed limits so we can all get around with some degree of safety....if you'd cleaned up after as many crashes as I have you wouldn't be so keen to go those sort of speeds....if you have done them, it's not skill that you survived, its luck.
