A question for you.
Where we now live, about 10k out of Ravenshoe on the Atherton Tablelands, the area was used during WW2 to train the troops before they went to PNG etc.
Because of this there are signs about being carful of unexploded munitions when digging & some interesting places where the troops used to camp.
On our place we have found a few bits of grenades but the main thing we find is what looks like the rear end of a small rocket.
Does anybody know what these might be?
I thought, maybe the end from a Bazooka round? but I'm not sure.
We have found about 5 so far but some were so rusted it was not worth keeping.
Thanks

Dude, UXO is not to be messed with.
Not to mention you never know what fill was/is in there.
Some crazy dangerous fill has been found in impact ranges.
I'm with Cliffy. I wouldn't be going anywhere near where there might be unexploded military ordinance. The military dumped a lot of munitions etc after the war and a lot of the times weren't too fussy as to how they and where they disposed of it.
