    A good man remembered

In the N.T. today a good man was remembered. I won't mention his name, in the traditional way, but you know who I mean, Bob

Agreed Bob, a great loss for us all. It would really be worth those who haven't looked into his life and achievements, to do so now.

it is a pity that he is more remembered for singing than for his achievements before he achieved singing fame.

That seems to be the way things are. While his music was important, his other achievements were really more valuable.

I heard Dr Roger Bannister say in a radio interview a few years ago that he would prefer to be remembered for his work as a brain surgeon that for being the first man to run a mile in less than 4 minutes. It's not going to happen though, is it.
