Loved the bush tucker man.How he used to set up camp and make chairs and beds and hanging lockers etc out of bush timber and hessian bags was great.Never saw him make a microwave or tv though,strange.

Good to see it preserved. I also used to love watching Les's shows and wished I had the vehicle and backup to go where he did. Always wished I had the spare time to stay up north during the wet season and set up a camp and just wait the wet through living off the bush tucker (fruit and fish etc).

Les was the inspiration to buy my first landrover 22 years ago. At the time I wanted to buy a four wheel drive but wasn't sure which make, I saw one episode of the bush tucker man and immediately knew that I wanted a landrover. A month later I was the proud owner of a 1966 S2 ex New Zealand army Landrover and I loved it! I've also had the pleasure of meeting Les several times and he's a terrific bloke. I think it's a great decision to put this landie in a museum, great stuff!
