Oh yeah nat_89 they are all great listening - especially JJ Cale.

Right now I'm blearing out Opeth, "The Night and the Silent Water" from Morningrise. Truly amazing music but I can't imagine many agreeing with me They are playing in Sydney soon - can't wait to see them.

I see most landrover folk as the types that listen to john Williamson, not metal
I listen to a wide range of music, but the heavier the better, but more on the punk/alt side. Melvins, haunted, baroness, Russian circles, blood duster, etc......

I do think you may be correct in that observation , but each to their own preference. Yesterday being Record Steore Day, yeah the vinyl resurgence , I places an order through a Melbourne shop for a few new goodies. My tastes run from modern psych ,and "garage" so a Danish band by the name of Spids Nogenhat, a couple Melbourne based garage bands , Stoneage Hearts and Loose Pills. Just have to wait for the post to come so I can give them a listen and a read of the liner notes.
There was a metal fest here in Bris yesterday , but other commotments kept me away. Next time
