4WD clubs in the Hunter Valley

    G'day,

Can anyone recommend a family orientated 4WD club in the Hunter Valley with a good number of Landrovers in it.

I've never been in a off road club and thought I might take the family away in the 130 with some like minded Landrover owners. I'm not looking to run with the fully locked, 12" lift and 38 " Simex crowd. The 130 is capable, but with young kids fire trails and the like are preferred.

    Cheers,

    Jason

    Whereabouts are you.

I am in the Central Coast Four Wheel Drive Club. It is a good club with trips locally and afar.

Give me a shout if you would like to know more.

I don't think there are any Land Rovers in this Newcastle LR club http://www.newcastlelandroverclub.org.au/the-club

It appears you have to be a Landy for this club: http://www.newcastleroverowners.org.au/

HI Fubar, I belong to the Newcastle Rover Owners Four wheel drive club which is a marque club. It is family orientated and rather small which suits me . We meet once a month in Kotara and usually have an activity or trip also once a month. Check the , basic, website for details or PM me, if you would like to know more. Cheers, Ross.

Yeah, the "Newcastle LandRovers Club" is a LandRover club in name only. It is quite bizarre watching all these Jap fouby's driving around Newcastle with "Newcastle LandRover Club" written across the windscreen. Although I notice some of them have removed the "R" from LandRover so that it reads "Newcastle LandPover Club"..........go figure!!!
