From the BBC, interesting background to trouble in the Middle East . Bob

    Country by country protests
I’m pretty sure the dinosaurs died out when they stopped gathering food and started having meetings to discuss gathering food

A bookshop is one of the only pieces of evidence we have that people are still thinking

Do they start with the conflicts under Belus or Nebuchadnezzar? [ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nebuchadnezzar_I"]Nebuchadnezzar I - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia[/ame]

They have been fighting in that region for at least five millennia, do you think its going to be resolved soon?

You won't find me on: faceplant; Scipe; Infragam; LumpedIn; ShapCnat or Twitting. I'm just not that interesting.

Too much eucalyptus in the air for any of us to be bothered to do something so much as a riot!

Was it Gilgamesh? Or even earlier? Who expelled Abraham from Babylon?

Now Bashar al Assad is being seen as the bad boy. As Arab dictators go he is a relatively mild one and there is no-one better, only considerably worse, to replace him. The only stable country in the Middle East at present is Israel. The Arab/Islamic ones are madhouses, dictatorships, or controlled by terrorist organisations (Hamas, Hizbollah) by force of arms.

I lived in countries were the population have "hot blood" and no time for political nonsense and I can telling you that I prefer the way of living in Oz.
That is one of the main reasons why I am here for 44 years
We only need to be alert to not loose the quality of life that we have as a result of the hard work and sacrifices done by the old generations and protect that standard of living not only for us but for the future generations.

I was under the impression that you was talking about riot and I think that riot it is not the best way to stop political nonsense
Loosing tens of thousands of life is not the best way.
