Did anyone stump up cash at the now closed ADF machinery sale

Now that the Graysonline auction of the ADF machinery is closed did anyone pay over their folding stuff for an item. I wanted a Unimog but couldn't rationalise where to park it, how to service it and most of all how to hide it from the wife including the $30k odd hole in the bank balance.

What did you buy and how chuffed are you at yourself?

    Hello
I was interested in the surveillance 110 at Minto
I missed it, went for more than I wanted to pay.
There were a lot of interstate bidders who probably hadn't read the service record.
    Anyway maybe next time
    Regards
    Andrew

For those that want a heads up for the next auction go to the Australian Frontline Machinery website and subscribe to the notices. You will/should be given email notice of the next round of auctions.

I'm hoping spring growth on the money tree flourishes before the next auction. Maybe a 6x6. Not much hope of keeping the price down if they only release 2 or 3 per auction.

I started to bid on a Haulmark 750kg trailer in Minto. They ant for way more than I think they are worth. They are certainly getting top dollar by dropping them in dribs and drabs.

I think this thread really relates to the machinery sale doesn't it ?

    BUT

I'd be interested to know what do you think the "750kg" single axle trailers are worth Carl.

I have one I purchased a couple of years ago which fortunately is in a better condition than those sold yesterday appeared to be.

The trailers have hydraulic override brakes, drum parking brakes & LED lighting & lots of features not available in normal production trailers that I didn't discover till I got it.

I believe that they cost the DoD around $9k less than 10 years ago. It's not that I want to sell it but I'm just not sure what one would compare it to in regards to working out a value.

So, I'd be interested to hear your views on what price would have been reasonable yesterday.

Those same trailers were selling privately for $1500 plus just 12 months ago so not a bad price
