    Ignition lock replacement

If I replace the ignition barrel and lock assembly do I have to take it to a Landrover dealer to get it programmed to the vehicles system or is it a home job .
When I bought the discovery 2 it only had 1 key and I can pick up a different lock complete with 2 keys for a reasonable price. Thanks again.

I was hoping to leave the drivers lock and rely on the remote reprogramming to open up the central locking , is this possible ?

D2's go into "super lock" (i can't remember it's exact name), but basically after a certain period of time, if the car isn't unlocked the remote won't open it without the key being turned in the door first. So you turn the key, then press the button and it unlocks.
