Sounds like a dislocation to me also. You need to identify if the bend is at a joint or mid shaft of the bone.
Putting in back in place will be the best form of pain relief. You need to put it bac as soon a s possible, head to the ED and get them to do it.
If you can't get to the ED, then you need to put some traction (pull on it) on it and try to rotate it back into place. Without seeing it can not offer any more advice (too much all ready)
The treatment once in place, either fracture or dislocation is the same, strapping it to its buddy as has been said.
