Defenders In 4WD Action Magazine Next Month.
Since the discussion on this Forum regarding lack of articles and perjorative remarks about Defenders and Land Rovers in general in the Australian 4WD Action mag. they have been popping up in trip photos, advertisements and small atricles all over the place.
Next month's mag. features Defender Td5 in their "Buying Used" section.
Should be a reason to at least buy that issue.
Cheers Peter.

They did an article on buying used TD5 defenders about a year ago! It'll be a repeat no doubt...

Ok let me guess.
"The Defender is a capable 4wd with solid axles and good low range box. However it has its quirks and reliability is still a concern. A good option if a Patrol or Cruiser is not to your liking".

And of course "it's not a land rover unless it marks its territory"... And "the td5 has an expensive injector setup that will cost you heaps if it buggers up"... And "responds well to a roo systems chip and exhaust package"...

Didnt Roothy do a trip up the Old Tele Track with a Dual cab Defender in tow, seem to remember that episode, of course I could have the track wrong though.
