The square gal RFS tanks have a reputation of splitting around the base unless in a gimble mount or with the truck tray on a tripod mounting (the tray hinged at the rear and a single front pivot so that the tray stays flat while the truck chassis twists below).
On a SIIB there is not as much flex in the chassis so likely not a problem.
On the 1000lt liquid pallets, there are some that are inside a sheet metal box, rather than the metal lattice frame. Quite rare, but what the sun can't get to the UV can't degrade. I believe they are used for light sensitive liquids.
