    Lights

I finally made some room in the garage so am looking at Mutley's (1975 Diesel series 3) electrics. I have no lights at all but all else on the electrics seems OK.

All fuses are OK so I will start looking at the instrument panel / wiring etc .

Whilst looking, can I canvass opinion on whether it is worth restoring the lamp holders or just replace them? with the exception of the reversing lamp holders and the headlamps all others are covered with rust internally /the seals are rotten etc .

    All opinions gratefully received.

    every good wish,

    David

Pattern lamps are reasonably priced even in Australia, they will provide the backplate & seals and you could re-use the lenses (especially if they are original).
Genuine Lucas parts are getting expensive
