To be honest unless you are really into driving - love for Land Rovers or not - I'd take the plane.

Qantas is offering flights for less than $150 one way. Jetstar is probably cheaper.

Put yourself up somewhere nice (e.g. Windsor) and take a break.

Very true, BUT I HATE flying. Besides hh is coming now so classy travel in big RED with the camper on the back:D AND visiting our friends on the way down;)

I assume you would travel the Newell, and if you do Melb via my place is only 10 kays longer.

I am only two hours Nth of Melb, so a stop here gets you into Melb nice and fresh.

And yes, congrats on your daughters graduation. I will be there next year with a son. Makes us proud of our offspring.
