    Brights Iconic Rod Run

Well a fantastic turnout to a new formatted Rod run after 22 years. The first Iconic Rod Run I believe had 575 entries which is fantastic for the first event.

I will let the Pics do the talking.

Don't ask me what they all are.

heaps more photos. If people are interested.

Yes Please There are some very rare to Australia vehicles there,I love the red and white 55 Ford Victoria and the 65 Plymouth Valiant Convertible and also the HK-T-G Holden Ute badged as a Chevrolet for South Africa.

some people go all out packing the car with things of the Era

I saw another Mini on Saturday that looked really good. Super rough body that was tubbed with a huge engine poking out the bonnet. It wasn't at the show and shine today though

The stretched FC dual cab is neat and the 57 come 59 Corvette is very well done, but the bullet nose Studebaker is the waste of a quite rare 51 Starlight Coupe I was into Rodding and Customs way back in the mid 60's

I could easily own that 56 Chev Viking 1/2 ton stepside ute and or the ZZtop 33 Ford 3 window coupe.

I used to have a 61 Ford Zephyr Station lowline station wagon like that but mine was blue with the original 6 pot and triple carbs with extractors, could hold a 308 Holden.

And that tin radiator model "T"Doctors Coupe is brilliant, there is a Black LHD one up here, but it is owned by somebody that does not like to drive it as he thinks that it's low milage will be his retirement fund.

    A couple even had caravans

This one is local and he usually has the numberplates CHRISTINE from book of the same name by Stephen King. Which is about a Plymouth which is haunted.
