    hang on,, you guys play nice with our newest maryboroughite

    sounds like just the guy to have around on one of my fishing trips,,

    charter boat???

    hey,, did I tell you I caught a bird the other day!!!!
    ( no ferno,,, the feathered kind)

    was minding my own business over near fraser
    :wink:
    using sprats for bait,
    when this big bird (think 2/3rds pelican)swims past and heads for the vicinty of my bait,
    the bird dives down, and i'm thinking oh ohhhh,,
    it comes up with my bait between its teeth,,
    a quick flick of the rod pulls the bait free,
    the bird then dives back under the water and its a race between my reeling and his webbed feet, I could see the bait from about 40' feet out and the bird chasing it like some sort of demented torpedo,
    I lifted the bait free of the water and the bloody bird chased it into the air,, I proceded to then let fly at the bird verbally, as you do,, and it just sat there waiting for me to cast again!!!
    I then thought of trying to run it over with the boat,as you do, but there would have been too many witnesses, though most of them were laughing too hard to see straight,,,,

    I can see it now.

    Small fuzzy faced gnome throwing a tantrum at a bird while the bird just looks back at him waiting for the next free feed.

    There are two types of people in this world, good and bad. The good sleep better, but the bad seem to enjoy the waking hours
