Whoops a daisy!
While you all were sleeping--
I was up here watching over the AULRO Empire!
burp,fart,stagger,cough,
oh wont you please take me home!!,,
take me back down to the paradise city,,
where the grass is green and the girls are pretty,,
oh wont you please take me home,,,
PICS!!!
who said that??
no, sorry, **** off,,,
at this time
5 members and 30 odd guests,,,
the 3 live members are chatting on another thread,,
No one would have believed in the first years of the twenty first century that Aulro was being watched keenly and closely by intelligences greater than man's and yet as mortal as his own; that as members busied themselves about their various threads they were scrutinised and studied, perhaps almost as narrowly as a man with a microscope might scrutinise the transient creatures that swarm and multiply in a drop of water. With infinite complacency members went to and fro over this site about their little affairs, serene in their assurance of their empire over matter.:o
nah can't take the credit for that one.
Mr Postcode (B928nW) worked it out.

You guys sound like my kids.
I hate to tell you, but it was a novel, written by HG Wells about 100 years ago.
Jeff Wayne's version stuck pretty close to the novel though.
I love those sort of CD's for long drives. "Journey to the Centre of the Earth" is another one of my favourites
Mike Oldfields - Tubular Bells also.
Hello Coops - yes that was Orsen Wells - circa 1940?
