Actually,if you go way way back to page one,yes i know thats like 744 pages back,but those first few pages set the mood for the whole thread,which must be read in its entirity (hope thats rite ron )the stars refer to a method of rating the poster NOT the thread,the more you posted the more stars you got,then they progressed thru differing colours till gold was attained .
Twas good fun in the earlier days,lots of double postings and single word postings,eg one sentence of say ten words strung out over ten posts upped your ratings quickly,but alas all good things must end and with AULRO growing in leaps and bounds, it was decreed that posting for the sake of posting was to be no more
