My mate's dad owns a drilling company, so it's toyotas, toyotas everywhere.
My mate locked the keys inside whilst fueling up.
Used a screwdriver to push past the window seal on the small triangular opening window, and flicked up the latch.
All the latches were ground down and wired in place after that :p
My old '78 Falcon was stolen... Well, twice in the same period.
Started once with the fuel dipstick and once with the transmission dipstick.
The hardest part was finding the replacement transmission dipstick. :o
If my memory serves me correct, it was a lock under the steering column where after turning the car off, you then had to insert the key into the steering lock to lock it.Quote:

In my RRC I had a key operated multipole switch, 7 or 9 poles by memory with a barrel key with both N/C & N/O contacts. Some controlled relays on ignition circuits others closed circuits to ground on some ignition paths that when earthed prevented starting.
Worked a treat as all wires were black (was a bitch to fit initially though). There was one red wire in and out that was power supply for the DPDT relay that controlled power and earth leads so if they were cut it shut down the whole system plus power to the relay circuits that were being controlled.
And people wonder why I own both a "CLUB" and "Krooklock" steering locks for my vehicles, and when going to events like the Brisbane Exhibition I have the rotor button in my pocket ;)
Your rotor button is your best defense. The other two items in your security would not last two minutes with my Makita 18 volt cut off wheel.Quote:
