As I posted above, The failed parts were a mix of genuine, unknown, and Bearmach (pretty sure the fan hub was Bearmach). (the tensioner pulley was replaced at the same time as the first fan hub).
I generally stay away from Britpart, but the (new Britpart) clutch and pressure plate looked very good quality and so far are doing the job fine.
I had an idle stepper-motor do exactly that, shattered as it was installed. (3.9 V8) - Was'nt much beyond finger-tight.
Lots of cleaning fluid propelled by Bad Language plus muttered threats of 'Jap-made replacement parts' and the original stuffed one is working again....:D
Sadly, pay a bit more and/or insist on known brands.
You have to remember that with both Bearmach & Britpart they only outsource the parts. I don't think either of them actually 'make' anything.
If they change supplier you could get a good part one day and poor the next. Maybe they can only get the part from a known supplier so you always get a good part.
You'd have to wonder as volume sales of spare parts fall whether Land Rover themselves would get parts from sources other than their original suppliers.
Some of the UK suppliers give you the choice of Genuine or aftermarket but when you hear of problems with 'genuine' parts you begin to wonder.

When ever I have to replace bearings I usually source from bearing distributor and specify SKF-Timkin units
OT
Last time I checked, neither Timken or SKF manufacture an equivalent of 599869

Most aftermarket suppliers will sell you one that looks like this:
