    ACCO F2 6x6

    Hi all,
I know this is a landrover site but if any one has photo, manuals or technical information on the old acco 6x6's, could you send it my way as I am trying to restore one and any info would be great.
    Thanks
    Dimbulah.

    G'day Dimbulah

I assume that you are talking about an Inter 6x6 cargo truck, which is an F1 as the F2 is the wrecker version, I would suggest that you look up "REMLR".com as they would have the best information available,I have a friend that has a restored F1 GS that does not live far from me up here in Qld. He is away for his holidays at the moment but when he returns I will ask him if he has any printed info.

But if you look up that site I gave you there is a section on Inters and a reference area where you can look up your vehicle's Chassis number to get it's original Army Rego number if that's of help to you.

    cheers

    F1 GS Cargo, F2 Tipper, F5 Wrecker.

Yup, REMLR forum will be a welcoming place, but don't forget to scroll down on the main AULRO page to find "Military Vehicles in General" section. Some Inter action happening there too.

You haven't had your morning coffee today Uncle Ho, the cargo version was the F1, the tipper was the F2 and the wrecker was the F5. (Grey's/AFM have a F5 they use around the lot, it won't go to auction till the end of the Defence contract, if then. )

The REMLR website has a lot of info on the Army inters The Army Inter Chapter - REMLR

While the REMLR forum has special areas for the various Mk Inters. International Truck Chat

I have an RPS for the F1 but not the F2 or F5.

Not that it's much help but there are a couple of EMEI on the Mk3s http://remlr.com/emei-other.html and the CES for the F1 http://remlr.com/documents/CES/01150...l%20Mk%205.pdf

You won't find me on: faceplant; Scipe; Infragam; LumpedIn; ShapCnat or Twitting. I'm just not that interesting.

Where did all the F1's go? I remember the sheer pleasure of driving them smoothly and the absolute pizzling you'd get if you missed a gear while carrying troops.

Most went to the RFS and CFA etc but are being released these days.

The crash box was a learned skill, but the good thing is that the mermaids can't do a brake test on them, because they lack a power divider.
