Reads like it was put together by a couple of 10-year-old schoolboys at playtime.

I hate scammers with a passion

Simple steps to deal with this

1) Open a 'hot mail' account.
2) Reply as Ayman al-Zawahiri.
3) Add some al-Qaeda graphics.
4) Thank him for the deal but you would rather have 100% of the money he stole from you.
5) Mention the Mujahedeen will be in contact shortly.
6) Sit back and wait for the NSA to arrive on your doorstep.

The "Hello Friend" is a dead giveaway. Why would anybody fall for something like that, it is blatantly obvious that it is a scam.

The old adage still applies: If it sounds too good to be true, it almost certainly will be.

IF it came from our ADF I would have gladly forwarded my Bank Details, The US bit made it sound suss

I think it is totally believable that a trunk could contain US$12bn. And with 20 trunks in total, that's a total of US$240bn!

Given that there is only approximately US$400bn in circulation outside of the US, old Osama did well to corner that much cash!
