Music, for me, often conjures up thoughts, ideas, emotions, etc about a particular time, place, person, thing, whatever.
That's one of the reasons why I think it's so great, it's an auditory escape into whatever fantasy you desire.
Every so often though, I come across a piece of music that goes beyond that, that so vividly creates an image or emotion within me, it's almost a sensory overload. Whenever that piece of music plays, the thoughts it creates within me are inescapable, it's all I can think of. It's beyond a fantasy, I feel as though I'm actually there, actually experiencing the things I'm thinking of. It's draining, and quite often when the music stops it's almost disappointing.
Tonight I found another one of those songs, and figured I'd share it.

I apologise for the existential rambling :D But damn if this ain't a superb piece of music, and one of a handful that makes me wonder if we're not all just one single consciousness, living billions of different lives at a different time.
