I once did some 4wding in a lada Niva that didn't break down. Unstoppable off road due to short wheel base and entry exit angles. Horrible at 80+ on rough road though.

A brand new (12000km) Toyota hilux workmate, 2.7L auto, single cab 2WD. The ride quality is appalling, the refinement appalling, the fuel consumption appalling, it's gutless, the ergonomics are worse than my old Rangie, so is the road noise and don't even try going around a corner in the rain unless you know how to drift... Honestly if it wasn't a work car that I got completely for free, you couldn't give it to me! I don't know why people buy these POS's.
On another note after driving the BT50 pool cars at work I'm looking to buy a Ford Ranger as a DD (sick of working on my daily, bloody Land Rovers).
Cheers
Will

Off the top of my head!
The latest land cruiser V8 diesel ute ain't any better likely worse cause after 2 hrs driving your back and arse are that numb ya have to stop and get out just go see if you can still walk.
Your BT50 or Ranger whatever you want to call it must be a later model than mine cause if mine wasn't a work car I get for free I'd burn it.
Cheers Ean
Renault Sandero. No wait, Chevrolet Aveo
I have not driven that many cars so cant judge so much.

land rover series 1,3,defender,disco.
nissan pulsar,tida,navara,patrol.
toyota land cruiser ute, 2wd hilux, 4x4 hilux, yaris, echo, prado.

hyundai elantra
volvo cars,4x4 and trucks(I cant remember what they were called)

The worst was the hyundai elantra. I just didnt like the clutch and accelerator.
The holden frontera I drove was dodgy and was a PITA.
The easiest car I have driver was the 1999 dualcab 2wd hilux.
The most fun was my 1954 86inch series one
My dads bt50 is a 2010 which is the model before the latest and is great to drive. It is really comfy, easy to drive and haw a lot of power.
The things I dislike about it is its clearance and it is a dualcab with a canopy so is hard to see out the back oh and the rear seats are terrible.
I once hired a 2003 Rover 45 V6 with CVT in the UK for a week or 2. It was a horrible, thirsty pos that couldn't decide what to do when going down hills. Definitely the worst car I have driven, I could see why Rover later went under...
