Why do so many people think they have discovered some piece of evidence that "the scientists" or "the experts" have missed?
In most cases, it is simply that there is a different explanation for the evidence or a different conclusion that can be drawn from it.
The existence of the LIA or the medieval warm period does not discredit the idea of human induced climate change.
In any case, the existence of a LIA is not quite cut and dried.
