    DAKAR and tyre pressures

    Just caught up on day five..........it looked like the exit off teewah beach, somebody should tell them to lower their tyre pressures....lol

    It's on SBS in the afternoons.....I watched day four and five this morning on SBS On Demand on the iPad

    they're intent on high speed and therefore aren't likely to lower tyre pressures for a bit of soft sand

    Last year they put all the days on the sbs catchup oline, can't find it there this year Might have to set the recorder.

    Thanks, I'll have another look at the guide.

    Have you noticed what tyres they're running? In the past BFG ATs seem to have been favoured.

    last year

    if you were 2wd you could have an auto tire pressure system to increse / decrease tire pressues
    If you were 4wd you had to stop and get out and manual adjust tire pressures

    I don't know about this year, work has got in the way but I suspect it would be as last year.
