    LOL.
You would hardly call Rosebud and that stretch a resort town, mainly a lot low income people and pensioners live there, the grass on the foreshore is hardly a resort and they wouldn't be getting a living from tourists, only the shops. Go further South to Sorrento and Portsea where the wealthy live and have a go at them, they don't even like commoners walking on the beach in front of their mansions.
There nothing wrong with tourists as long as they behave and also consider others.
Anyway, I was passing on observations, I don't live there but my sister does, she's quite away from the fore shore , one of the poorer residents. But she is directly effected by hoons, yobbos, drunks etc. through no fault of her own. Not locals but visitors.
Seems some condone it's ok for other to inflict others privacy? and right to have peace. Like a bad tenant as a next door who plays drums all night , is that also ok?

Wasn't it Lindsay Fox who tried to fence off the beach in front of his house?

All private property in Australia ends at the high water mark. You can legally walk by any private waterfront property at low tide.

    Definitely North but West........Nah.
Gotta be West of Richmond for that hey.

Sorry, I had lived (& still work) at Doomadgee for so long I think I'm still living there half the time. I'm sure when I have been in Ravenshoe for 18 years I will start to think of it as home.

My sister tells terrorists are abandoning today, a few street signs have been stolen for momentos and the bush fire started today is speeding up the retreat.

So we were in Target today and suddenly the wife says, without any discussion, "You need new budgie smugglers - yours are falling apart." "Nah, they're fine," I reply. Fortunately, they didn't have any in stock.
