My whinge of the day is how we can whinge for stuffs ups out of our control leaving politics out
Your first words bring politics in to the conversation.
If you want to leave politics out, don't mention it.

For the record think we should impose a global product surcharge (as tariffs are in breach of agreements Australia has entered in to).

People who will not give up trying to get politics into general chat when they were the reason politics was stopped in general chat.

Politics was never a part of general chat. In recent times, the rule has been applied with a little more lenience.
I'm sure Chucky knows what I mean. There is an area where political discussion is allowed. And I ( and I'm sure Chucky as well ) are having a good time in that area.
We don't always see eye to eye but we also occasionally agree.
If you want politics, go there. Politics in GC, don't go there.

I agree with you, but if you like it or not, superquag was a political statement as well.

I guess that we have to make comments about fantasy land to avoid that, it is a pest and I whinge about it

You are absolutely sort of right. I am going to severely berate myself later.
As punishment, I'm giving myself a period of hard labour (in the back yard cleaning up a 2a carburettor).
