    What I learnt today

I learnt to not mention I drive a Land Rover in public today....

As soon as I did two fellow bike club members proceeded to yell me down with all the Land Rover stuff, Unreliable, Crap, Lies about cheap parts, Cost more than national debt to run.....

They got really loud when I tried to mentioned the Prado Diff Club and the extended Warrantee firms statistics on Disco v Prado.

Then they said it is unfair to compare the Prado and Discovery 2. The big Landcruiser is the match for the mid sized Discovery 2????? Even though it is shorter and between them in width.

So now it is only safe to say I own a 4WD...

In this situation I smile and say " You poor little bugger, I can guess what your school grades must have been. "

Does anyone else seem to have problems with a particular dealership in Perth not being able to fix warranty issues properly the first time or when they say they are going to fix them? I have a 2012 Defender 90 and just seem to have a never ending story of them wanting the vehicle back to fix stuff they should have already fixed, and when they do repair something, it is not very long until they have to do it again and it should be easy fixes. For example the radio rattles out of place when I am driving and every time I take the vehicle back, I tell them to put the radio back in and most times it does not even last the drive home, it had a leak in the spout of the fuel tank which i told them about on the first service and they were supposed to do it on the second but I got a call saying they did not repair it as they have to drop the back end down and did not have time so they wanted it for another day, they swapped out the rear door latch because it was not working and had to be unlocked with the key and when I got it back, it wouldn't have lasted a week before it started playing up again. And now they want the vehicle for a week to pull out the transfer case to do something in there. It probably wouldn't be so bad if i lived in town but i live about 2.5 hours away and really can not afford to not have the vehicle for that long.

When you're painting, you get more paint on you than the work and your hair sticks together.
