Just the mention of International Roast and my taste buds did the same thing one's testicles do when dunked in cold water.

The last place I worked at used to provide International Roast in the staff rest areas. Most people wouldn't drink it, even though it was free.

I like a good coffee. I limit myself to one per day so that it is a treat, and drink tea the rest of the time. We've got one of the Aldi capsule machines in our staff kitchen area, along with one of their milk frothing jugs. I find it makes quite a decent cup (we've found that Lavazza capsules fit, and are a little better than the Aldi ones).

Ditto, although I've been indulging myself and having two a day lately.

Having done basic barista training, (and the ex is a barista) life's too short to put up with **** coffee!

Aahhh. The good old Aldi capsule machines. Passable espresso and responsible for me overcoming my fear of drinking coffee at other people's places.

Anyone have experience with the Bialetti Moka Express, apparently been in continuous production since 1933 & most Italian homes have one. Great thing is it could be good for camping as it is stove top driven!

    Taste?? whats that,
I'm an adict, not a connoisseur.
it's the caffine that is important.
The only reason I have sugar is to hide the taste......
