But an iPad looks nothing like a Perspex box containing an IED.

Seriously, when you look back on it now, doesn't that look like the crappiest prop ever.

I had the "Angels. Immediate launch" line in my head, but that was Capt Scarlet. I loved all three shows and Thunderbirds of course. The Andersons what a team!!

    No.
Shows with the mationettes included Thunderbirds, Captain Scarlet, Joe 90 and Stingray..
Interestingly, there were two seasons of the Thunderbirds. Both were made at the same time using two sets of marionettes and two production crews.

Oh, one of the voices in the Thunderbirds was the Aussie actor Ray Barret (John Tracy and The Hood). Charles "Bud" Tingwell voiced Doctor Fawn in Captain Scarlet and also voiced a few minor marionettes in the Thunderbirds.

Awesome dark sci-fi. There are the odd rumour now and then that someone is going to do a remake, (hopefully someone like AMC does it, well any other studio than Fox!).

Apart from the re-boot of Doctor Who, which I do like, ive never been much of a fan of re-boots to classic Sci-Fi.

I love the old Blakes 7 for what it is/was.

I also have a tendancy to name my devices: zen, orac and slave, not to mention davros, dalek and tardis.

    Cheers

The Tomorrow People was another one I loved. It had a great theme too.
