    As above.
LRH100 bought his from a business that brought 2 kits into the country to evaluate.
The business has 'taken another direction' and they won't be bringing in any more.
I have spoken to NCF Nick (?) a few times and he is very helpful.
He doesn't seem to have much luck with Ozzy distributors though.

As for the kit, LRH100 didn't have many dramas AFTER he found a decent Engineer. That is the trick.
Delivered price of the kit was $15-20K from memory. Then needed a lot of sealing of panels, etch priming of the galv panels and paint. It adds up a lot.
I decided against it. Now I am saving for an RFSV. 2 door, even more 'purposful' looking and factory! In the end, it will be cheaper, stronger and hold more residual value.
You can make something similar by grafting a defender front end onto the inner guards of a Disco, reshaping the outer skin of the doors and replacing the rear from the B Pillar back.
It wouldn't have quite the clean lines of the sahara, but you would have a lot less drama as you haven't changed the structure of the body in significant areas.
    Hope this helps.
    Cheers, BDave.

I was at Modern Motors in Dungog NSW yesterday . Whiles chatting about different bits and pieces Ben said they had brought in a few kit cars from the UK I'm sure he called them Saharas.

G'Day Mike. Modern motors were the one.
I enquired about purchasing there other kit about 14 months ago.
If they still have it, it would be a good buy.
The shell has been professionally finished and painted Ford XR orange.
    Cheers, BDave.

I have a 98 Disco 1 v8 that is mechanically very sound and about to get a 4.6 in it, but with a pretty average body. Whilst it has been my daily driver I have other options. I've been thinking about turning into a ute, but am open to other suggestions. Barefoot Dave, how much work is involved in grafting Defer guards onto a Disco. What other ideas are out there?
    Thanks guys!

    aussiesearcher,
I have not done this myself.
The best option would be the NCF way:
Single piece flip-front hinged at the front of the dumb irons.
a couple of simple braces for the radiator and you are done.
    Simples.
They do a lot of cutting around the lower a pillar/ firewall etc to make it fit.
will see if I can dig up the Sahara build cd an upload some photos.
    Cheers, BDave.
