Things that go bump in the morning!!!

BUSY at work,10.5/11 hour days all week doing a contract job for another shire.
I worked today maintence grading a couple of our roads destroyed by grain trucks during harvest.
I saw a vehicle approaching so I dropped back a gear and returned to idle, was doing 3kmh.The vehicle passed,I hit the button for the set operating revs,as I geared bak up to 4th I felt a bump, knowing there are no rocks or stumps where I was I thought the gearbox must have loose mounts.
I look behind and find this.

Very lucky fellow, note the busted windscreen, his head did that!!!!

Very lucky...obviously not looking where he was going or wearing his seat belt! Was it due to poor visibility from the dust of the other vehicle?

    Cheers, Mick.

The other car made the dust,he tells me he was only doing 50kmh,look at the 3 marks up the bonnet,he stood it up on its front wheels!!!
Chassis bent,diff/gearbox/motor all locked solid.Only one scratch on the grader.

It seems that a bull bar is no good against a CAT?

    A dust buster

That's a Ripper of a yarn and did the driver get the point of other's having a dig at him?

Glad to see it all ended well for the Cat in the dust up.

They always say don't push your face to close to a Cat otherwise you can get your nose scratched.

    Bull Bar failure

I bet he wished he fitted a Cat Bar!

Well someone had to say it

Bet he's more attentive when he next drives a vehicle, glad he is ok though.
