Staggered. Prayers to all concerned.
Met him a few times and bought some things off him.
He was a really friendly and knowledgeable person and will be missed in the land rover community.
That is so sad. I have spoken with him many times...bought stuff from him. May you RIP mate.
Shocked to hear this news.
He was one of the good blokes in life and had been very helpful to my Father in law, son and myself.
My regards and sympathies to friends and family.
RIP Gary. :(
Like most here I never knew the guy but bought some gear off of him and he was always great to deal with. RIP Gary :(
We are very saddened to hear the news.
I still remember having a long chat with him about the Ebay business venture when Gary was starting out.
We met on many occasions .... he called in here often, either for a chat or to pick up some parts for one of his many Land Rover project he had on the go.
Always a true gentleman. I was unaware he was ill.
He will be sadly missed by many.
We send our sincerest condolences to his family and friends.

so sad, such a great bloke, bought much gear from him always reliably and with integrity and so helpful always. sincerest condolences
Very sad, he really was one of natures gentleman. Polite, professional and always ready to take a few minutes to let this greenhorn pick his brain, he will be sorely missed.
I can confirm the sad news that Mario originally posted.
He had not been well for some time due to cancer.
I visited Gary last Friday afternoon and had a short discussion with him as the ambulance was taking him to Nepean Hospital.
As was his wish he wanted to be at home when the end came.
He was surrounded by his family and passed away at 3.00am.
It is expected that his funeral service will be held this Saturday at Orchard Hills.
Gary leaves a wife and two young children.
In the years that I had known Gary, he conducted himself in a very ethical manner and would go out of his way to help his customers.
An all round good guy.
He will be missed.
