Technically speaking, I much prefer a "Tick tick" to a "Vroom vroom".
The "Tick tick" costs me less in oily rags and I have less sweat on the steering thingy, when in the rough. Also the "Tick tick" appears to be close
to amphibious whereas the "Vroom vroom's" stop in mid-stream.
I have had 3 V8 "Vroom vrooms" but I much prefer my present "Tick tick"

I hear the TD5's are not so amphibious

Being an "early adopter' of all things technical,
I thought about this problem,
and bought one of the new fangle things for when things get dampish,,

its called a boat.

8) and pedro i think thats a damm fine idea, more vroom vroom i say
thoroughbreds
not oily rattlers

oh, ok if you insist

8) harry

if we are going to burn fossil fuels, lets use the properly refined stuff,
not that greasy, oily, sulfururis [bad spelling -worked for me] distillate.

and i might add - it is distillate!
not bloody diesel or diesoline
after all its only kerosine with oil added to it.

40 gallons kero to 4 gallons oil
makes smelly bloody distillate.

ouch, i think my sore nerve got a hit

it worked vlad.
