    Docter Knifed.

    Front page of today's Herald Sun. A high profile brain surgeon is fighting for his life after being attacked and stabbed in the foyer of the Western hospital while on his way to work.

    What is the world coming to?

    And what ****es me off is the perp is charged with attempted murder.

    As far as I am concerned attempted murder should carry the same penalty as murder. You attempted to murder some one and failed, should still me murder.

    I just hope the poor doc has a full recovery. Definitely the best place to be if some thing like this does happen to someone.

    I'm sure you don't want everyone charged with murder when the victim survives. But the penalties should be severe.

    These sort of crimes and I guess all crimes are now being reported in the media and more in your face.

    As a very very general statement crime is going down but reporting of almost every little incident is increasing.

    Doesn't help you if you are a victim though.

    Not even safe in Kalgoorlie any more.

    A young bloke was murdered in Boulder on the weekend - then his body moved to South Kal where those who murdered him commenced cutting the body up for disposal - a couple of them apparently caught in the act.

    Four have been arrested and charged with the murder so far ....................

    The only reason I am against it is there has been the odd case of a person found guilty who is actually innocent and some times later evidence supports this.

    However, if a person is caught in the act I say hang them. I will happily pull the lever.
