    Thumbs down PHONE POLLS/SURVEYS

What a lot of croc!! I bet the answers given are anything but accurate. I have decided that I will not do any more. Surely an answer you give as a spot decision cannot be true if you do not know anything, or very little about what you have been asked. Surely given time to research and consider your answer, might find that you answer differently to these spot answers the interviewer expects. I also suspect that there are trick questions in the survey. You answer NO to something and a little later the same question is asked again but presented in a totally different way, where you might answer YES. I am over them. Jim

Sounds like you got tricked into answering "YES" to the latest survey asking if you believe that Shapelle should be offered the role of Governor General when she returns to Australia.

Seriously though - I know what you mean. I never participate in any phone surveys of any kind. I politely respond that I'm not interested.

If they become persistent - I become rude.
    Cheers .........

I don't answer ours either. I let the machine take a message. If they don't leave one, it couldn't be too important then.

Perhaps we better explain what a telegram is to them young folk.

It's a hand delivered, printed copy of an email sent between PO to PO
and brought to you by a Post Office boy riding a bike.

Not sure if the bikes are Speedwell, Malvern Star or Acme.
