Infiniti Car... No I don't want one!!!

best thing I did was to start using apple . I now have a MacBook , made a few mistakes, lost a few files but cacks on windows and microsoft.

I hardly see an ad or popup, dont need virus protection, everything is clearer, faster better.

My iPad lies in the bottom of a cupboard somewhere. :p

Very quickly got sick of the apple operating systems - good for music but not much else. :confused:

Have since bought a tablet that runs the latest version of Windows and never looked back. ;)

I don't get pop-up ads on my tablet, nor on my iPhone, when viewing AULRO, and I don't run any blockers or similar.

And transferring large files onto the tablet is a breeze - very much unlike the convoluted process you have to go through with an iPad.

And Im the polar opposite... The windows run laptop lies dusty on a shelf, rarely turned on, and the Ipad lives within reach. I no longer have the patience for Windows and all its faults... With Apple, you open it, turn it on and search. Job done! With Windows, you turn it on... wait a bit... wait some more... Then get told that it needs to update.. Wait some more, then it opens with some error... So you wait some more. Oh.. Its working.. Yup, I'll turn it off now... Wife found the answer on her phone... an hour ago!! :p

Yep - know exactly where you're coming from. My laptop with the older version of windows is exactly as you've described. It was the main reason why I bought an iPad in the first place.

But the new tablet with Windows 8 - a different story. Just as fast as the iPad to turn on / boot up.
