I use my 110 as a daily driver except for the weekends when I'm hard at it restoring one of other Landrovers, 8 in all (currently restoring a S2 Comm/recon car) and every 4th Sunday I can have my own military convoy if I can con 3 drivers into sharing the day with me
Ok, now I have landy envy . Bragger
Told you I was still drooling after visiting Uncle Dinty. See me sitting in the gun-buggy in the gallery?

I drive '183' daily. 3/70 S2A FFT. I've not long returned from a trip to Sydney return where I averaged around 314kms to a tank of fuel....original 4 pot that it was delivered to the Army with and it's never been rebuilt until I changed the head.

Photos in the Gallery...page 3 titled 177-183 and page 4 under Antaine's trip.

I used to drive an 83 rangy as a daily driver, but when a couple of valves burnt out, I got a commondore for the DD. It's also a bit cheaper to do 60,000 k's a year in the commodore than the range rover.

However, on weekends, the rangy is the transport of choice. The commodore gets parked on friday arvo, and doesn't move again until monday morning.

    bloody good year that!

in fact the old vang was probably my first intro to 4wd [only with 2wd]

god i even had the boys [read 'mates' to avoid that crap]
queing up for harrys horror rides to gunnamatta beach on thursday nights after the pub closed.

ahh its ok, we didn't get killed or caught!

then i got a motor bike!
