$40 flat is a better price indeed, sufficiently less than a 110 to sell a few more, but without any advertising it is a wonder they still sell andy defenders (apart to enthusiasts like us :wink: ).
I'm still inclined to think that they will go, but a price decrease would be better. Maybe the price you saw was the runout price??
take another $5k off the price, advertise it well, and watch em drive themselves of showroom floors

A 'soft top' one, on the other hand, (would compete nicely with the Jeep Wrangler) would be VERY attractive.
