Not any longer !.
I to have used VET since its creation, Keith Rhiodan ( spelling?) created it at Swinburn to stop the students messing up the servers there.
It was a good AUSTRALIAN company, their customer service was great and never any problems. Another company taken over and offshore.
Now your lucky to get anyone to answer on their switchboard
although the program itself still works very well.
I use it in conjuction with a NAT firewall router and Sygate Personal Firewall Pro and always keep uptodate with OS patches.
Its years since I'v had any sort of problems with worms or viri.

Yeh.... real pity when great Aussie companies get gobbled up..... . I have never needed any support the whole time I've used the product... so I hadn't noticed the change in service level. But as you said the product still works a treat.
And you're 100% right... I wise man sits behind a hardware firewall as well as a software one if he can... ( but don't assume that a NAT firewall router is a total guarantee - there are ways around them... )
...... not that any of the nice folk around here would know about that 8O :? 8O
