    Cowan-20 years.

    Life with a 20 year non-parole. Can a child murderer get more or is this the maximum allowed?
    With two previous convictions for kiddie fiddling I think he should have been confined to a place where he couldn't have callously murdered young Daniel.

    What was he doing out anyway? what did he get for the previous two offences? Maybe - two strikes and your'e not getting out ever rule should be introduced.

    If ever there was a case for castrating paedophile bastards like him, he is it. Two previous jail terms for pedo offences which no doubt the bleeding hearts would think were good enough to reform him, and out he comes then does this.
    Cut his bollocks off now then double his non parole period.

    What I don't get is all this other information that came out after about him. Why was he not jailed 10 years ago if they knew all this information.

    And today the New South Wales Court of Criminal Appeal has ruled that Matthew Milat should continue to serve his maximum 43-year sentence over the killing of David Auchterlonie.

    This low life get 43 years and the other one 20
