But seriously, screensaver would be easy wit hall the pics we have in the gallery. Some of the other ideas are good as well. Might cover any costs involved with running AULRO!

In one sense you could always wear the sporran on the inside for warmth.

In another sense cold weather usually deals with the length problem. 8O

So…. has anyone got any ideas about other things that they might want - AULRO branded ?

They would need to be things that are:

1) Relatively inexpensive

(so no, you can't look forward to a Defender AULRO to replace the Xtreme - not yet anyway.) 8)

2) Not require a big 'run'

- eg fleeces (unless there is enough interest in this. I know I'd be up for one. I know a LR club that gets them done at ~$30 each so thats probably the going rate for a half decent one).

So - bring on the ideas :!:
Vlad,

First off it is very hard to get a good price unless reasonable quantities, it can be done but costs....

In a particular club I'm in (but I won't mention name) I got involved in the purchasing, when my mate was purchasing officer, so have a bit of a track record. The most popular items in order are listed below:-

1. Stickers (both inside and out $4 each) we also did a 50 run of large letter sticker for top of windscreen full width at $15, we repeated again.

2. Polo shirts 2 colour with embroided logo 4 colour $30ea

3. Stubby holders with club logo first run $6, second run $10 but heaps better quality.

4. Polo fleece Jacket 2 colour with logo $30 first run, second run they did two colour spray/lined kacket $35, third run fleece pullover 1/2 zip $40, these all very popular

5. Baseball cap with logo $15. New model about to come out with curled stiff peak with gold edge realy smart.

6. Sew on patches $4. They have been around a long time don't sell that fast now but did for years, better to pay a little more to get iron on badges, they don't twist up when washed.

7. Umbrellas were quite popular for a while but dear, club colours with two large club logo about $40

We did large travel bags, wine cooler bags etc didn't sell well.

New items coming stainless mugs waisted that fit cup holders, key chains etc and we have just restruck the large round 90ml metal club badge I think they sell for $30 we had to buy 100 to get the price, they won't go off, already selling fast as we were out for a long time.

Hope this helps

Very informative mate, thanks.

I get the impression, however, that I've opened a can of worms with this one....

That it :!: A can of AULRO branded worms :!:

I thought windscreen stickers were outlawed a few years back.
Probably limiting vision area or some such thing ....
