Melrose sounds good, lovely place, haven't been there for years.

Is there a link to what's happening there?

Wow Mike, you are in for the visual blowout of your life, especially the transformation from Melrose to Maree.

Melrose-Quorn-Hawker-Lyndhurst is best way to go first time unless you really want to see Woomera.

When you get to Marree Roadhouse ask Lyle to make you a burger with the lot.
It'll take you a half hour to eat it.

    When will you going through?

Thanks Digger I'll make sure that my wife doesn't drive in the populated areas
Looking forward to meeting lots of new people and catching up with others, although that actually means Baz (Redback) since I think he's the only one I have seen in this thread so far that I know.
    Cheers

The Navigator and I have decided to run up to Arkaroola for a few days before coming back down to Melrose.

We leave Melbourne on the Friday, so Melrose on Saturday night, Marree Sunday night, Oodnadatta Monday, Uluru Tuesday & Wednesday, Coober Pedy Thursday, an Adelaide vineyard Friday, Halls Gap Saturday, back home to Melbourne on the Sunday.

My only concern for the whole trip is making sure we have enough fuel (petrol V8 needing 95RON), that's despite a couple of days being 700+km's. We must be mad
