    GOLD COAST 4X4 CAMPING SHOW WASHED OUT

    Just been down to the showgrounds.

    It's not happening today.

    Lots of water went through overnight.

    Lots of stuff went down Worangary Ck, still to be recovered.

    Most of the showgrounds has water over it , the exhibitors tents a mess.

    An exhibitors meeting is being held at 4pm to consider opening on Sat/Sun.

    that sure is unfortunate, people put a lot of work into things like that.

    Yep drove past this morn.....not pretty. Fingers crossed it dries out a bit as gagging to go. Plus be good for the businesses there to make some coin after their efforts to get there and set up

    Yep . I can remember the flat FLOOD PLAIN at Mudgeeraba under water by thirty feet about thirty years ago after similar rain. I have been expecting it to go in again.

    its now back on and FREE entry for the weekend. apparently a few people vendors have lost alot of stock, sounds like their might be some great specials.
