Euro Trip - I'm simply not interested

My wife has planned a 6-7 week trip to Europe and the UK. Plane tickets have been bought, river cruises booked and paid for, accommodation paid for, etc., but I simply cannot get enthused about going.

She's getting annoyed as she's trying to plan where we go and what we might want to see but I don't want to go.

What is also annoying her is that a couple of years ago she planned a trip for us to Antarctica and South America and I backed out a the last minute. Now she can't travel there because of medical issues.

I'm quite happy to stay home and not go anywhere.

My wife & her sister are in the throes of planning a 21 day Euro trip next year i.e. Rhine river cruise etc. (Don't mention the war! Why not? You started it) We've been overseas several times & I couldn't give a rat sars about going again (but I will...sigh ) The brother in law & I would be more interested in a Kimberley boat cruise with fish, muddies, fish & muddies, but do we get a look in....NO!

By all means get a Defender. If you get a good one, you'll be happy. If you get a bad one, you'll become a philosopher.

SWAMBO goes on an accompanied "art tour" each May to somewhere in southern Europe with her brother and artist SIL. Its my 3-4 weeks for whatever I choose - which is usually not much more than some time out under the stars - still don't know how I handle it!!!!!
