Those Caltex pumps!!! Have you come across some where some bright spark has mixed the nozzles about, so the diesel nozzle is sitting in one of the petrol holders and vice versa?

Doesn't help that everything Caltex is vortex this and that.
    I'm pretty careful about it.
You could have given me a buzz if you needed a further hand, would have been happy to assist

Thanks Muppet, but you are two hours from Dubbo.
    Dave.

I was asked " Is it ignorance or apathy?" I replied "I don't know and I don't care."

They do it deliberately, but the bowser can't deliver fuel if there is a nozzle berthed on the desired fuel type or vice versa.

Have been caught like this at a Caltex myself in the D2 - on the day, even the price of Vortex diesel and Vortex ULP were the same.

Luckily I caught on after only about 20 litres or so because of the smell.

Have also heard of more than one other being caught similarly at Caltex outlets.

I haven't been back to a Caltex since .................. I wonder if any of their marketing geniuses realize how many customers they lose (permanently) because of this poorly thought out marketing ploy.
    Cheers .........

You really don't know how strong the morons are around this way.

And I'm not only talking about the way they smell neither!

Still wont make you fill up with the wrong fuel...

Grab right hose from wrong location will mean the hose wont flow; grab wrong nozzle from right location and same will apply.
