Well can anyone recommend a good GAS conversion company in Melbourne ?
Mrs Vlad won't let me get a gas one (and it's nothing to do with copping enough gas already) bu reckons shje wouldn;t be able to use the gas filler-upperer-thingy at the servo :roll:
It does look even more economical over time to get an LPG conversion done now, though....
Even bloody diesel is 105.9 the other day here :twisted:
I might have to buy a V8 to save money. 8O
Sorry don't know of a good converter in Melbourne but I can remember that one had been recommended on a thread around here somewhere.....
I made up a quick excel spreadsheet last night with rough costs for converting the car to gas and how much I would save a year and how long it would take to recoup the cost of installing the system. Basically if you purchase a $2500 system and drive 20,000km's a year it will be paid off within a year, as long as the price of GAS doesn't go up as well !!!
Now I just need to find a system that will fit in the boot of the car, with the biggest tank, as I already have a 130 litre petrol tank.
